| Shared note | BIOGRAPHY: In 1869 John was living at Antills Creek, Molonglo worki ng as a farm labourer on Carwoola Station. When his first wife, Mary An n died in 1880, he was living at Majura near Canberra, working on Duntro on Station. DEATH: John died while living with his son (J.W.E.S. Robinson) at 17 Ken ilworth Street, Waverley. Cause of death was "Chronic Nephriitis". H e was 62 yrs old. NSW Reg. No. 7647. MARRIAGE: Four months after the death of his first wife Mary Ann, John m arried the widow, Mary Armstrong (nee Gambell). BIRTH: The Robinson family bible records John's date of birth as 9 Aug 1 844. However, the year 1842 is deduced from his marriage certificate . Unable to locate English record. BURIAL: John was buried in the C. of E. cemetery at Gordon, NSW. |
